Position Title: Sales Engineer
Work Arrangement:
- Location: Hybrid with travel requirements for the East Midlands area
Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving technical sales and expanding the companies market presence.
- Utilize in-depth technical knowledge to support the sales process and provide comprehensive technical guidance to clients.
- Proactively seek and secure new business opportunities in the Aerospace, Defence, and Industrial sectors. This includes market research, identifying key prospects, and developing tailored solutions to meet client needs.
- Strategically manage and expand the sales territory across the East Midlands area. Develop and execute effective sales strategies, including identifying potential growth areas and cultivating partnerships to increase market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and ongoing collaboration. Conduct regular check-ins, understand evolving client needs, and provide innovative solutions to enhance customer success.
- Provide technical support and after-service care to uphold long-term customer relationships. Collaborate with the technical support team to address client inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution.
- Work closely with internal teams, including engineering and product development, to create collaborative solutions that align with client requirements and market trends.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Educational or professional background in engineering or a related technical field.
- Proven track record in technical sales, preferably within the Aerospace or Defence industry.
- Experience with bespoke Connectors and Cables Solutions or related technologies.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Basic Salary: Between £40,000 to £60,000 per annum
