  • Following significant recent growth and team expansion, Our Client is now looking to appoint a Technical / Specification Sales Manager to support the next phase of development.

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Secure specifications on construction projects through early engagement with key stakeholders.
  • Create, influence, and break specifications to win project opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with architects, specifiers, consultants, contractors, and key decision makers.
  • Increase engagement with Tier 1 contractors and major construction projects.
  • Support and expand the existing distribution network.
  • Identify and develop new routes to market.
  • Manage projects from specification stage through to order conversion.
  • Deliver technical product presentations and solution-based sales proposals.
  • Identify new market opportunities and generate sustainable business growth.
  • Work closely with internal technical and commercial teams to maximise project success.
  • Report directly to the National Sales Manager and contribute to the wider sales strategy.

Qualifications

  • Proven sales experience within construction fixings, fasteners, anchors, façade fixings, insulation fixings, or related construction products.
  • Experience securing, influencing, or breaking specifications within construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of project-led and specification sales processes.
  • Experience selling through distribution channels.
  • Ability to engage confidently with contractors, consultants, architects, specifiers, and other project stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
  • Technical credibility and the ability to present engineered product solutions effectively.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working remotely.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
