- The successful candidate will be supported by an established technical, applications, service and aftersales team.

Roles/Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an effective sales strategy for the North of England and Scotland.
- Manage and grow relationships with an established customer base.
- Re-engage dormant accounts and identify opportunities for renewed business.
- Generate, develop and convert new business opportunities throughout the territory.
- Sell premium industrial woodworking machinery, including CNC machining centres and related technical solutions.
- Promote associated services such as planned maintenance, servicing and operator training.
- Understand customers’ manufacturing processes and recommend suitable machinery solutions.
- Take a consultative approach to sales, becoming a trusted adviser to customers.
- Manage the full sales process, from initial enquiry and technical consultation through to installation and ongoing account development.
- Work closely with technical, applications and service colleagues to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
- Maintain accurate sales activity, opportunity and pipeline information.
- Represent Our Client professionally at customer sites and throughout the territory.
- Travel regularly across the North of England and Scotland.
Qualifications
- Previous experience managing an established field sales territory.
- A successful background in capital equipment, industrial machinery, engineered products or another technical sales environment.
- Experience within woodworking machinery would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Strong account management and customer relationship-building skills.
- A proven ability to identify, develop and convert new business opportunities.
- A consultative, solution-led approach to selling.
- Confidence discussing technical products and customers’ manufacturing requirements.
- Strong commercial awareness, organisation and negotiation skills.
- The ability to work autonomously and take full ownership of regional performance.
- A self-motivated, professional and customer-focused approach.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory.
- A full UK driving licence.
