Our Client is a leading manufacturing company specializing in quality plywood components and expanding into bespoke furniture production. They take pride in delivering excellence and are seeking a skilled Production Manager to join their dynamic team

Responsibilities:

•    Oversee workshop staff, ensuring efficient operations and timely project delivery.

•    Plan and manage the production process, coordinating with the management team to meet targets.

•    Utilize joinery expertise for assembling plywood components using hand tools and operating machinery.

•    Interpret CAD technical drawings for effective production guidance.

•    Lead the expansion into furniture production, specifically vanity units and bedroom furniture.

•    Demonstrate excellent time management, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.

•    Provide strong leadership and collaborate effectively with the team.

•    Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the production facility.

•    Motivate and manage the team, offering guidance and support.

Requirements:

•    Previous joinery experience and team management skills are essential.

•    Proficient in computer usage with prior experience in a similar role.

•    Clean driving license and own transportation are a must.

Details:

•    40-hour week, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm with an hour for lunch (1 pm – 2 pm).

•    22 days holidays per year, plus bank holidays (Factory Shut down at Christmas).

•    Competitive salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per annum, negotiable based on experience.
