Job Title: Business Development Manager – South East

Location: Cambridgeshire or Essex (covering Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk)

Salary: £45K – £55K Base + Commission + Car

We are hiring on behalf of a leading company in the construction industry, renowned for their expertise in providing innovative solutions for concrete structures. This esteemed organization specializes in a variety of products including spacers, formwork, reinforcement, sealing, and building acoustics, alongside providing essential services like project solutions and joint design.

Role Overview:

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and expanding the client base within the assigned geographic region. Your primary focus will be on nurturing relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and delivering solutions that align with the company’s product range and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets in the assigned region.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
• Understand customer needs and requirements to offer suitable products and services.
• Work closely with the technical team to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activities.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction field sales.
• Familiarity with products such as reinforced steel or related materials in the construction industry is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
