Position: Area Sales Manager
Location: Scotland or Northern Ireland
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and expand the client base in the designated territory.
- Identify and engage with potential customers, promoting our client’s comprehensive range of Water treatment Machinery, Equipment, and Plant solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including water treatment plants, municipalities, and engineering firms.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients, ensuring optimal product selection and customized solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals within defined timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market developments, industry regulations, and customer feedback, providing valuable insights to drive product improvements and enhancements.
- Regularly update the CRM system with accurate sales data and pipeline information.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in industry related products.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong technical aptitude to understand and convey complex product features and benefits.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Ability to travel within the designated territory as required.
