My client is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Area Sales Manager to join their team. They are a leading UK designer, manufacturer, and installer of playground and recreational equipment with over 100 years of experience. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop an established customer base in the South East, including Local Authorities, schools, housing developers, and town/parish councils.
What you’ll do:

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key stakeholders across public and private sectors

Lead the strategy, preparation, and submission of tenders and quotations

Manage a well-organized diary to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets

Follow up on leads, marketing campaigns, and new business opportunities to introduce customers to innovative play solutions

Conduct site visits and surveys to develop tailored design briefs and accurate costings that meet customer needs

Ideal candidate:

Experience in playground/outdoor furniture sales or specification sales with landscape architects

Proven consultative B2B sales expertise, preferably within the public sector or construction-related markets

Strong knowledge of tendering processes and ability to hit the ground running

Self-motivated and organized, with excellent relationship-building skills
