We’re looking for an ambitious and energetic Lighting Consultant to help drive sales growth through the competitive tender and specification market. This role is ideal for a consultative sales professional with experience working with MEP consultants, architects, and lighting designers.
You’ll be responsible for identifying opportunities, securing specifications, managing large multi-site tenders, and maintaining strong relationships across key customer groups. A blend of account management and new business development, the role requires commercial acumen, technical understanding, and a hands-on, strategic approach to project sales.
Key Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years’ sales experience in the lighting industry
• Proven success in specification sales and tender management
• Strong network within MEP consultants, architects, and designers
• Experience leading cradle-to-grave multi-site project rollouts
• Excellent communication, organisational, and CRM skills
• Commercially focused with strong negotiation and forecasting ability
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Achieving annual sales and KPI targets
• Managing and growing key accounts across the specification market
• Leading tender submissions and major project rollouts
• Conducting site visits, CPDs, and client seminars
• Collaborating with internal teams on product development, marketing, and customer experience
• Providing market insight and contributing to strategic planning
