Roles/Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across your designated UK region.
- Build relationships with OEMs, manufacturers, distributors, and end users.
- Promote standard and bespoke fastening solutions to new and existing customers.
- Introduce customers to Full-Service Provider solutions, including inventory management, logistics, and supply chain support.
- Develop territory growth plans and market penetration strategies.
- Target growth sectors including defense, construction, renewable energy, industrial manufacturing, electronics, and engineering.
- Work closely with internal technical, operational, and commercial teams.
- Negotiate and secure long-term commercial agreements.
- Deliver sustainable sales growth across new and existing sectors.
- Report directly to the Sales Director.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in business development, ideally within technical or industrial sales.
- Experience selling products such as fasteners, nuts, bolts, screws, C-parts, engineering consumables, industrial components, fixings systems, or industrial distribution products.
- Strong ability to open doors, identify opportunities, and win new business.
- Technical and consultative sales approach.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and influencing skills.
- Commercially driven, proactive, and self-motivated.
- Ability to develop territory strategy and operate with a high level of autonomy.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the confidence to build market presence in new sectors.
