Roles/Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across your designated UK region.
  • Build relationships with OEMs, manufacturers, distributors, and end users.
  • Promote standard and bespoke fastening solutions to new and existing customers.
  • Introduce customers to Full-Service Provider solutions, including inventory management, logistics, and supply chain support.
  • Develop territory growth plans and market penetration strategies.
  • Target growth sectors including defense, construction, renewable energy, industrial manufacturing, electronics, and engineering.
  • Work closely with internal technical, operational, and commercial teams.
  • Negotiate and secure long-term commercial agreements.
  • Deliver sustainable sales growth across new and existing sectors.
  • Report directly to the Sales Director.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in business development, ideally within technical or industrial sales.
  • Experience selling products such as fasteners, nuts, bolts, screws, C-parts, engineering consumables, industrial components, fixings systems, or industrial distribution products.
  • Strong ability to open doors, identify opportunities, and win new business.
  • Technical and consultative sales approach.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Commercially driven, proactive, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to develop territory strategy and operate with a high level of autonomy.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the confidence to build market presence in new sectors.
