Are you a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer seeking a new challenge in the Midlands? We have an exciting opportunity with our client, a leading company in the laser sales and production industry. 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in meeting the needs of our client and their customers, focusing on Laser Sales and Production, Bearings, and Laminations across three departments.

DAY-TO-DAY DUTIES:

•              New Customer Acquisition: Proactively search for and engage with potential customers.

•              Customer Relationship Management: Visit and establish strong relationships with both new and existing customers.

•              Needs Assessment: Persuade customers that our client can best satisfy their requirements in terms of quality, service, and turnaround.

•              Quotation and Tendering: Calculate quotations, negotiate tenders, and successfully close sales by agreeing on terms.

•              After-Sales Support: Offer exceptional after-sales support services to ensure customer satisfaction.

•              Data Management: Record and maintain client contact data, including progress and reports.

•              Technical Presentations: Conduct technical presentations showcasing our client’s services and products.

•              Collaboration: Liaise effectively with other members of the sales team and contribute to problem-solving for customers.

•              Production Office Support: Assist in production office tasks such as quoting, issuing route cards, and ordering materials.

REQUIREMENTS:

•              Proven experience in technical sales, with a focus on Laser Sales, Production, Bearings, or related fields.

•              Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain customer relationships.

•              Negotiation skills with the ability to close sales effectively.

•              Technical aptitude to make compelling presentations about our client’s services and products.

•              Flexibility to work both in the office and travel regularly to visit customers.

•              Ability to solve customer problems and contribute to the production office tasks.
