Roles/Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of six Internal Sales professionals.
- Drive sales growth, customer retention, and profitability across the business.
- Monitor team performance and implement strategies to maximise results.
- Support pricing, margin management, and commercial decision-making.
- Work closely with external sales, key account management, and senior leadership teams.
- Develop customer relationships and support strategic accounts when required.
- Analyse sales performance and provide accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiencies, and customer experience.
- Support the continued development and progression of team members.
- Monitor competitor activity and wider market trends.
Qualifications
- Previous sales management or team leadership experience.
- Experience managing internal sales, customer service, or sales support teams.
- Industry experience within fasteners, fixings, industrial distribution, engineering consumables, MRO products, or related sectors is essential.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of sales performance metrics.
- Excellent coaching, mentoring, and people management skills.
- Ability to motivate teams and drive a high-performance culture.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proactive, commercially focused, and confident working in a growing business environment.
