Roles/Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of six Internal Sales professionals.
  • Drive sales growth, customer retention, and profitability across the business.
  • Monitor team performance and implement strategies to maximise results.
  • Support pricing, margin management, and commercial decision-making.
  • Work closely with external sales, key account management, and senior leadership teams.
  • Develop customer relationships and support strategic accounts when required.
  • Analyse sales performance and provide accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiencies, and customer experience.
  • Support the continued development and progression of team members.
  • Monitor competitor activity and wider market trends.

Qualifications

  • Previous sales management or team leadership experience.
  • Experience managing internal sales, customer service, or sales support teams.
  • Industry experience within fasteners, fixings, industrial distribution, engineering consumables, MRO products, or related sectors is essential.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Excellent coaching, mentoring, and people management skills.
  • Ability to motivate teams and drive a high-performance culture.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proactive, commercially focused, and confident working in a growing business environment.
