About the Opportunity
My client is a well-established business within the construction sector, mainly selling roofing tiles and accessories , known for its strong team culture and continued growth. They are looking to bring in a driven and personable individual to join their internal sales and logistics team, supporting external Business Development Managers and playing a key role in day-to-day operations.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a supportive environment, thrives on building relationships, and wants to develop their career within B2B sales.
The Breakdown:
Working closely with both internal teams and external BDMs, you’ll be at the heart of the sales operation, supporting customer activity, coordinating logistics, and helping drive revenue.
Key responsibilities include:
- Handling inbound and outbound sales calls
- Producing and following up on customer quotations
- Supporting external BDMs with territory planning and strategy
- Coordinating logistics and organising haulage
- Managing customer queries and expectations
- Processing sales orders and maintaining CRM accuracy
- Upselling additional products and accessories
- Assisting with invoice queries and resolutions
- Building strong relationships with customers across contractors, merchants, architects, and developers
- Acting as a key point of contact (“buddy”) for an external BDM

- Previous experience in construction or a related industry is beneficial but not essential
