About the Client

  • This opportunity sits within their internal sales and logistics team, working closely with external Business Development Managers and key customers.

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound sales calls with customers and prospects.
  • Produce, send, and follow up on customer quotations.
  • Support external Business Development Managers with territory planning and sales strategy.
  • Coordinate logistics, including organizing haulage and deliveries.
  • Manage customer queries, expectations, and day-to-day account support.
  • Process sales orders and maintain accurate CRM records.
  • Upsell additional products, accessories, and relevant solutions.
  • Assist with invoice queries and help resolve customer issues efficiently.
  • Build strong relationships with contractors, merchants, architects, developers, and other industry contacts.
  • Act as a key internal point of contact and “buddy” for an external BDM.

Qualifications

  • Positive, proactive, and self-motivated approach.
  • Strong communication skills with a confident and professional phone manner.
  • Natural relationship builder with a commercial mindset.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask.
  • Previous experience in construction, roofing, building materials, or a related sector is beneficial but not essential.
  • Experience in internal sales, sales support, customer service, logistics coordination, or B2B account support would be advantageous.
