We are currently working with a leading flooring company in Manchester to recruit a Contract Flooring Sales Person for their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional to join a dynamic and fast-paced organisation that is committed to delivering high-quality flooring solutions to commercial clients throughout the North of England.
Responsibilities:
- Developing new business opportunities through proactive sales activities, such as cold-calling and networking.
- Managing existing accounts to maximise sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Conducting site visits to assess customer needs and provide tailored flooring solutions.
- Preparing accurate and timely quotations and tenders.
- Building strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
- Collaborating with the installation team to ensure smooth project delivery.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in contract flooring sales, preferably in a commercial setting.
- A track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness.
- Knowledge of different flooring types and installation techniques.
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed.
- A full UK driving license.
We are offering a competitive salary of £50,000 basic and £70,000 OTE, as well as a company car and a range of benefits including private health insurance and a contributory pension scheme.
