We are a recruitment company specializing in sales roles within the construction arena, based in London. We are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our client, a leading shop fitting company, to help drive their growth.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for the company, building a pipeline of potential clients
- Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target businesses
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market research to better inform business development activities
- Attend relevant networking events and industry conferences to promote the company’s services
- Work closely with the project management team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Provide regular reports to the senior management team on business development activities and progress towards targets
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in a business development role, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in the shop fitting industry
- Proven track record of successfully developing and closing new business opportunities
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Self-motivated and results-driven
- Strong knowledge of the London retail market and industry trends
The role offers a competitive salary package, including a basic salary of up to £60,000 plus a generous commission structure that could see the successful candidate earn in excess of £100,000 per annum. A company car, laptop, and mobile phone are also provided.
