Who the Role Reports to and Key Responsibilities:
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and crafting strategic growth plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Discover and secure new business opportunities, while managing existing client relationships.
- Design and implement strategic plans to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Coordinate with internal teams to optimise product offerings and enhance customer service.
- Analyse market trends to stay ahead of the competition.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and potential growth opportunities within the plastic injection moulding sector.
- Develop and implement effective business development strategies to penetrate new markets and enhance the company’s competitive position.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Conduct regular follow-ups and meetings with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
Background, Experience, Characteristics and Qualifications of Ideal Candidate:
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- Relevant experience in business development or sales, ideally in the plastics or manufacturing industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in strategic planning and market research.
- Excellent sales skills with a demonstrated ability to close deals and negotiate contracts effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Points of Appeal
Salary/Package + OTE including details of company car/car allowance and ANY other benefits:
Basic Salary up to £60,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance
