The Role: Business Development Manager (Internal, Wirral)
This is a role for a smart, strategic business hunter, not someone brash, but someone who’s commercially sharp, confident, and able to hit the ground running.
You will:
Develop new business with main contractors while driving proactive outbound growth.
Hit daily activity targets (e.g., 30 calls) while engaging senior decision-makers and becoming their go-to safety partner.
Spot profitable upsell, cross-sell, and multi-division opportunities, including reactivating dormant accounts.
Keep meticulous client data and collaborate with Marketing on targeted campaigns.
You are:
Proactive, driven, detail-focused, and hungry to earn
A strong communicator across phone, email, and in-person meetings.
Skilled in negotiation, time management, and Microsoft Office.
Bonus: B2B or service-industry sales experience, plus a track record of engaging senior stakeholders.

Base salary: £30K–£40K plus a lucrative commission scheme (realistic earnings potential: double your base).
