Join our client’s team as an Area Sales Manager for the Midlands region, managing and expanding sales territories in the electrical utilities sector. This role offers a blend of remote work and field-based interactions.

With a focus on electrical utilities and various industrial sectors, they are dedicated to maintaining and expanding their long-established territory in the Midlands.


  • Account Management: Oversee and enhance client relationships to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retention.
  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities within the territory to grow the client base.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients.
  • Face-to-Face Customer Visits: Conduct regular visits (minimum 7 per week) to ensure high-quality interactions and service.
  • Marketplace Assessment: Continuously analyze market conditions and competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly.


  • Technical background in electrical or electromechanical fields preferred.
  • Proven experience in technical sales, ideally within electrical product manufacturing or distribution.
  • Strong presentation skills, with a keen sense of autonomy and drive.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks to meet and exceed sales targets.


  • Competitive Salary: Basic salary ranging from £40k to £48k.
  • Bonus: Profit share with an estimated additional £15k+, offering unlimited earning potential.
  • Car: Pool car available initially, with a company car provided post-probation.
