Our client serves a diverse clientele across various industries including retail, leisure, construction, and agriculture, ensuring quality and durability in all they do. As they continue to expand their reach in the South East of England, we are looking for a motivated Area Sales Manager to join their dynamic team.

The Opportunity:
 This role is a fantastic opportunity for a sales professional with a passion for the coatings industry and a track record of achieving sales targets. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing sales within the South East of England, driving both new business development and the management of existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically identify and pursue new business opportunities within the designated territory.
  • Foster and enhance relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs to provide tailored solutions.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets, contributing to the company’s growth objectives.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with technical and product teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven sales experience in the coatings, manufacturing, or related B2B sector.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, with a drive to exceed sales targets and contribute to team success.
  • Knowledgeable about the South East market and able to travel within the territory.
  • Holds a valid driving license.
