Derby (Office-based with UK Travel)
£30,000 – £40,000 + Uncapped Commission + Car/Allowance + Benefits

My client , A leading surfacing and resurfacing company, is looking for an Key Account Manager to join their growing commercial team.

Aviation & Defense
Education, Healthcare & Leisure
Local Authority & Commercial
Innovation and sustainability are at the heart of the business, including pioneering low-carbon surfacing products that reduce CO₂ by up to 90%.
The Role
This is a hybrid position based out of the Derby office, with national travel to meet clients and visit sites. You’ll play a key role in both growing and retaining business by:
Managing and developing a portfolio of ~100 accounts.
Re-engaging dormant accounts and driving new business.
Building strong client relationships and becoming the “go-to” person for surfacing solutions.
Delivering against KPIs: 15+ new enquiries/projects per month.
Working closely with the Regional Sales Manager to help shape a high-performing sales team.
What We’re Looking For
We want a genuine sales professional , someone ambitious, resilient, and hungry to make an impact. You’ll bring:
Proven experience in B2B sales (construction or related sector preferred).
Strong account management and new business skills.
Confidence in handling the full sales cycle, from initial approach to negotiation and close.
Drive, resilience, and the ability to “roll up your sleeves” and get stuck in.
What’s on Offer
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 base
Commission: ~uncapped earning potential
