As part of their strategic expansion, they are seeking a dynamic Area Sales Manager to grow sales across the South East of the UK, targeting dealerships, workshops, fleet operators, agricultural businesses, and distributors.
The Role: Area Sales Manager – Automotive, Commercial & Agricultural Lubricants
📍 Location: South East UK (Field-Based)
💰 Salary: £45K – £55K + Performance-Based Bonus
🚗 Company Car + Fuel Card
This is a customer-facing business development role focused on increasing sales, market share, and brand presence within automotive, agriculture, construction, and commercial vehicle sectors. You will have the autonomy to manage your territory, identify key business opportunities, and develop strong long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Development: Drive new sales opportunities across automotive, agriculture, construction, and commercial transport sectors.
- Account Management: Build and maintain relationships with distributors, dealerships, fleet operators, and agricultural businesses to increase product adoption.
- Technical & Consultative Sales: Work closely with technical teams to educate customers on lubricant applications, benefits, and performance advantages.
- Brand Development: Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events, strengthening brand recognition in target sectors.
- Data & Market Analysis: Track and report sales performance, customer trends, and competitor activity to drive informed business decisions.
Who We’re Looking For?
✔ Proven B2B sales experience in automotive, commercial vehicle, agricultural, construction, or industrial lubricants.
✔ Existing industry connections with dealerships, fleet operators, workshops, agricultural businesses, or heavy machinery distributors.
✔ Technical knowledge of lubricants, oils, and greases, with a solution-based sales approach.
✔ Proactive, self-motivated, and target-driven, with a proven ability to grow sales and develop accounts.
✔ Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
