Roles/Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts across Newcastle, Gateshead, and surrounding areas

  • Develop new business opportunities within heavy engineering, robotics, utilities, and blue-chip manufacturing sectors

  • Deliver high levels of service and technical support to clients

  • Balance account retention with strategic new business growth

  • Depending on the candidate’s strengths, the role can evolve into a more field-based position

  • Contribute to the ongoing success and growth of a close-knit sales team

Qualifications

  • Background in fixings, fastenings, or a related technical sales environment preferred

  • Experience selling into engineering or manufacturing supply chains

  • Proven success managing a territory or customer base

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-first mindset

  • Self-motivated, with the ability to manage time effectively in either internal or external sales functions
