About the Client:

Roles/Responsibilities
Manage and grow existing customer accounts across Newcastle, Gateshead, and surrounding areas
Develop new business opportunities within heavy engineering, robotics, utilities, and blue-chip manufacturing sectors
Deliver high levels of service and technical support to clients
Balance account retention with strategic new business growth
Depending on the candidate’s strengths, the role can evolve into a more field-based position
Contribute to the ongoing success and growth of a close-knit sales team
Qualifications
Background in fixings, fastenings, or a related technical sales environment preferred
Experience selling into engineering or manufacturing supply chains
Proven success managing a territory or customer base
Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-first mindset
Self-motivated, with the ability to manage time effectively in either internal or external sales functions
