About the Client:
Our Client is a respected and long-standing specialist in the powered access and plant hire industry, recognized for quality, reliability, and low staff turnover. With over 40 years of successful operation, they maintain strong relationships with leading construction and infrastructure partners and are now seeking to expand their reach with a seasoned Senior Business Development Manager.
Roles/Responsibilities
Develop new business with Tier 1 contractors and major housebuilders across the UK
Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract completion
Build and nurture strong relationships with senior decision-makers
Identify and secure high-value project opportunities
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver profitable, client-focused solutions
Qualifications
3–5 years’ experience in powered access, plant hire, or related construction equipment hire sales
Proven success selling into Tier 1 contractors or national housebuilders
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Commercially astute, self-motivated, and capable of working independently
UK-based with flexibility to travel nationwide as needed
Benefits
£55,000–£60,000 base salary
20% annual bonus
