About the Client
Our client is a long-established global manufacturer known for high-performance fastening solutions used in wood construction, decking, furniture, new-build developments, and broader construction sectors. With a strong legacy of merchant and distributor-led sales, the company is now building a specification-driven UK sales team to boost national visibility and project involvement.
Roles/Responsibilities
Develop new business with project managers, contractors, housebuilders, specifiers, and architects
Deliver technical product presentations and provide tailored sales support
Build national awareness of a premium, sustainability-focused brand
Position the company as a key supplier for residential, commercial, and public-sector construction projects
Collaborate with senior leadership to help define and execute UK strategy
Qualifications
Proven experience in technical or specification sales
Background in construction products, fixings, or fasteners
Self-starter with strong industry connections and a “hunter” mindset
Previous manufacturer experience preferred
Comfortable presenting technical solutions to a variety of stakeholders
