Roles/Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a dispersed team of 5+ Business Development Managers
Own and drive commercial performance across the Southern region
Enforce CRM best practices, accurate forecasting, and pipeline management (Pipedrive)
Conduct joint client visits, structured performance reviews, and team coaching
Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery
Build and strengthen relationships with major contractors, local authorities, consultants, and frameworks
Implement a high-performance sales culture aligned with business growth objectives
Qualifications
3+ years’ experience managing external sales teams across multiple locations
Proven ability to drive revenue growth, accountability, and commercial discipline
Background in construction, civil engineering, or technical sales
Data-driven leadership style with the ability to improve remote team performance
Strong communication skills with a confident, structured, and coaching-oriented approach
Skilled at stakeholder engagement across all levels
Benefits
£50k–£60k base salary (dependent on experience)
20% annual bonus
£6k–£8k quarterly commissions
