Roles/Responsibilities

  • Act as the central internal point of contact for Tier 1 construction customers and the External Account Manager

  • Manage enquiries from phone, email, and website, qualifying opportunities effectively

  • Conduct discovery calls via Teams or Zoom to identify customer needs

  • Prepare, present, and follow up on quotations

  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts

  • Support the External Account Manager with administrative and sales coordination tasks

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline tracking

  • Coordinate smooth handover to Operations for successful project delivery

  • Provide timely and professional responses to customer queries

  • Conduct post-project follow-ups to uncover further opportunities

  • Deliver an exceptional end-to-end customer experience

  • Attend customer site visits one day per week alongside the External Account Manager

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Strong relationship-building skills with commercial awareness

  • Solid understanding of sales cycles, negotiation techniques, and revenue drivers

  • Results-driven mindset with a passion for achieving targets

  • Detail-oriented with a practical, solution-focused approach

  • Confident using CRM systems and IT platforms

  • Proactive team player with strong interpersonal skills

  • Skilled at asking strategic, insightful questions

  • Professional telephone manner with strong closing ability

  • Previous sales experience preferred (internal sales experience advantageous)

  • Experience within construction or fit-out environments is a plus
