As an experienced Sales/Business Development Manager you will work directly with customers and be responsible for managing your own diary. The role will be a split between, new business development covering both smaller single site businesses and larger multi-site businesses, technical onsite support, and managing and developing existing accounts. The role will mainly be field based covering an area from the North of England to Birmingham. Candidates should ideally be based within access to their territory.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and develop strong relationships with a wide variety of existing customers, ensuring awareness of the full range of products.

Promote the company’s overall capability, ensuring upselling opportunities and sales volumes are maximised.

Developing new business by researching and analysing potential customers in both the food and beverage sector and the general industrial sector.

Expanding sales by initiating and building strong relationships with new customers, raising the company profile.

Providing regular and accurate forecasts of projected sales.

Build strong understanding of the company’s full product range.

Interface with the commercial/admin team to support customer solutions.

Providing customer technical and product support.

Continually developing industry knowledge, regulations needed and technical know-how.

Preparation of monthly update reports for the Managing Director.
