About the Client:

Our Client is a market-leading provider of innovative play and leisure equipment, delivering impactful outdoor spaces for communities. Known for their design excellence and quality, they partner with architects, landscape designers, and local councils to create imaginative, safe, and inclusive environments.

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities (approx. 70%) and manage an inherited portfolio of existing accounts (approx. 30%)

  • Engage with local authorities, architects, and landscape designers to promote products and drive specifications

  • Manage projects from concept through to delivery, collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful outcomes

  • Achieve and exceed a £1.4M annual sales target, with clear potential to grow toward £2M+

  • Represent the brand at industry events, exhibitions, and client presentations

  • Maintain accurate records and pipeline progress through CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales with a strong track record in new business development

  • Experience working within the A&D community (play/leisure equipment, landscaping, timber, contract furniture, or similar)

  • Consultative, relationship-driven sales approach with strong commercial awareness

  • Creative mindset with the ability to engage in design-led conversations

  • Personable, inspirational, and self-motivated, with excellent communication skills

  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the region

Benefits

  • Basic salary of £45,000–£50,000

  • Uncapped commission: 1% on all sales up to target, 2% beyond target (OTE £80K–£90K+)
