Location: South West (field-based with occasional office attendance, HQ South West)

Salary: £30,000–£40,000 base + 20%-40% fee comms

Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across the South West region. This is a role for a motivated, consultative sales professional who thrives on building long-term relationships and delivering tailored funding solutions. You will have the backing of an experienced, collaborative team and access to a wide product range.
Key Responsibilities
Develop new business across SMEs to large corporates in all industries.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and introducers.
Identify and secure funding opportunities across a wide product range.
Work closely with internal colleagues to deliver tailored finance solutions.
Maintain a high level of market and product knowledge to advise clients effectively.
Requirements
Ideally 3+ years in commercial finance sales, or 5+ years in financial services new business development.
Track record of generating and closing new business.
Consultative sales skills with the ability to operate independently.
Personable, motivated, and results-driven.
Ideal Qualifications (Not Essential)
Relevant financial services or lending qualifications.
Existing network within the SME or corporate market in the South West.

Base salary of £30,000–£40,000 plus commission.
20%–40% commission (over hurdle). 25% on in-house specialist lending.
