Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across the South West region. This is a role for a motivated, consultative sales professional who thrives on building long-term relationships and delivering tailored funding solutions. You will have the backing of an experienced, collaborative team and access to a wide product range.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business across SMEs to large corporates in all industries.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and introducers.

  • Identify and secure funding opportunities across a wide product range.

  • Work closely with internal colleagues to deliver tailored finance solutions.

  • Maintain a high level of market and product knowledge to advise clients effectively.

Requirements

  • Ideally 3+ years in commercial finance sales, or 5+ years in financial services new business development.

  • Track record of generating and closing new business.

  • Consultative sales skills with the ability to operate independently.

  • Personable, motivated, and results-driven.

Ideal Qualifications (Not Essential)

  • Relevant financial services or lending qualifications.

  • Existing network within the SME or corporate market in the South West.
