About the Client:
Our Client is a well-established commercial finance broker based in the South West. Operating as part of a broader financial services group, they deliver bespoke funding options including leasing, vehicle finance, eco finance, and business loans. With deep lender relationships and a strong reputation for client service, they help SMEs and corporates access the capital they need to grow.
Roles/Responsibilities
Generate new business across SMEs and larger regional corporates
Build strong relationships with clients, introducers, and referral networks
Promote a wide product range including asset finance, loans, and specialist funding
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored finance solutions
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, markets, and regulatory developments
Manage the sales cycle from initial contact through to funding completion
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial finance sales, or 5+ years in broader financial services business development
Proven ability to originate and close new business independently
Consultative sales style with strong relationship management skills
Self-motivated, personable, and results-driven
Familiarity with funding solutions and lender requirements
A network within the South West SME or corporate market is advantageous
Benefits
Base salary of £30,000–£40,000 depending on experience
Commission structure of 20%–40% over hurdle (25% on in-house lending products)
