Specification Sales Manager – Timber Joinery Products

We are working with a leading UK manufacturer of bespoke fire doors and timber joinery products, known for combining precision craftsmanship with industry-leading fire safety, sustainability credentials, and rapid lead times.

This newly created Specification Manager role is a key part of their growth strategy. You’ll take ownership of building and nurturing relationships with Architects & Designers, ensuring their products are specified on projects across London and the South East.

With £4.5M+ of specification work already part of the portfolio, daily inbound A&D enquiries, and a state-of-the-art showroom in London to host CPDs and client events, this is an opportunity to step into a role with real momentum and the backing of a key player in the industry

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of 20–30 architectural practices

  • Deliver CPDs, technical presentations, and showroom events

  • Provide expert advice on fire door and joinery specifications (including L20)

  • Convert inbound specification enquiries into project wins

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery

  • Maintain CRM records and manage active pipelines

  • Play a strategic role in shaping a future Specification Team

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in Specification Sales, ideally with fire doors, joinery, or interior fit-out products

  • Strong understanding of the specification process and A&D route to market

  • Confident delivering CPDs and technical product presentations

  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing your own diary

  • CRM experience preferred (HubSpot or similar)

  • Full UK Driving Licence

Package & Progression:

  • £60K to £70K base salary (DOE)
