An established UK manufacturer of high-quality interior partitioning solutions is seeking a driven Specification Sales Manager to develop new business through the education sector, working closely with architects to win specifications across refurbishment and new-build projects.
This is a hands-on, national role with support from a dedicated technical and installation team. All projects are delivered entirely in-house—ensuring quality control and service excellence from specification to install.
The Role
You’ll take ownership of a niche product area, with full autonomy to grow your patch. The role involves identifying specification opportunities, delivering CPD-style product presentations, and building trusted relationships with architectural practices and educational clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive product specification via architects across the education sector
- Deliver informative and engaging product presentations
- Manage the full sales process from specification to close
- Collaborate with internal delivery teams to ensure project success
- Work remotely while covering clients nationally
About You
- Experienced in specification-led sales, ideally to architects
- Background in selling technical interior systems (e.g. partitions, fit-out, acoustic products)
- Capable of managing large-value projects (up to £200K)
- Commercially driven, organised, and self-starting
- Familiar with public-sector or education environments (advantageous)
