An established UK manufacturer of high-quality interior partitioning solutions is seeking a driven Specification Sales Manager to develop new business through the education sector, working closely with architects to win specifications across refurbishment and new-build projects.

This is a hands-on, national role with support from a dedicated technical and installation team. All projects are delivered entirely in-house—ensuring quality control and service excellence from specification to install.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of a niche product area, with full autonomy to grow your patch. The role involves identifying specification opportunities, delivering CPD-style product presentations, and building trusted relationships with architectural practices and educational clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive product specification via architects across the education sector
  • Deliver informative and engaging product presentations
  • Manage the full sales process from specification to close
  • Collaborate with internal delivery teams to ensure project success
  • Work remotely while covering clients nationally

About You

  • Experienced in specification-led sales, ideally to architects
  • Background in selling technical interior systems (e.g. partitions, fit-out, acoustic products)
  • Capable of managing large-value projects (up to £200K)
  • Commercially driven, organised, and self-starting
  • Familiar with public-sector or education environments (advantageous)
