Business Development Manager – Shoring & Formwork 

Location: London & Southeast
Package: Up to £75K OTE (Base £50-60K + uncapped commission + £7K car allowance)

About the Role:
Join a global leader in modular formwork and shoring solutions with a strong UK presence, operating with an agile, entrepreneurial culture. This is a unique opportunity to own and grow a key territory — London & Southeast — generating £2.5M+ in annual revenue, with significant growth potential.

You will manage the full sales cycle within a CapEx model, directly engaging with civil contractors and construction firms, delivering technical and solution-based sales of advanced modular formwork systems and accessories. This role requires autonomy, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to close deals while building lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full territory ownership: develop new business and grow existing accounts

  • Solution selling of modular formwork and shoring systems to main contractors and civil engineering companies

  • Conduct site visits, provide project design input, and deliver technical demonstrations

  • Build a strong pipeline and capitalize on an underleveraged patch worth over £2.3M annually

About You:

  • Proven experience in CapEx construction sales (technical knowledge an advantage but not essential)

  • Self-driven, confident, and able to operate independently without heavy supervision

  • Hungry, ambitious personality with a passion for solution-based selling

  • Strong commercial mindset and ability to manage and grow a significant sales territory

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural fit for a nimble, high-performance team environment
