Segment Lead – MAP & Energy Retailers
Location: Hampshire (Hybrid Working)
Salary: £80,000 Basic + Company Car + Benefits Package
Are you a strategic leader with a track record of driving growth in complex markets?
We are retained on behalf of a leading technology solutions provider to recruit a highly motivated Segment Lead to drive the company’s market presence and revenue growth within the MAP (Metering as a Platform) and Energy Retailers segment.
About the Role:
As Segment Lead, you will be responsible for positioning the TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) model in the target market. Your key objective will be to create and implement strategies that align customer buying processes to recognise the value of this model. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure demand generation is balanced with delivery capacity to meet growing market demand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to position the company’s TCO model within the MAP and Energy Retailers segment.
- Drive revenue growth across all segments, ensuring targets are achieved and exceeded.
- Ensure a balanced approach between demand generation and the company’s ability to fulfil customer needs.
- Stay updated on key regulations, market trends, government policies, competition, and emerging technologies.
- Use this knowledge to inform leadership and adjust strategies as necessary. Provide leadership and mentoring to teams on both technical and commercial aspects of the company’s solutions, products, and services.
- Collaborate closely with marketing to enhance market share and customer retention within your area of responsibility.
- Ensure customers are updated on new product/solution launches, ensuring successful rollouts and long-term adoption.
What We’re Looking For:
•Proven experience in a senior commercial or leadership role, ideally within the energy, utilities, or technology sectors.
•Deep understanding of market drivers, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies within the MAP and Retailer segments.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering on revenue and growth targets.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence internal teams and customers alike.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on delivery to ensure both growth and operational success.
