As the Hazardous Waste Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving new business development while managing existing accounts and fostering strong client relationships. Targeting chemical companies, hazardous material handlers, and brokers, you will cover territories in North and South Kent, contributing to the expansion of our operations.

About the Client

My Client provides services such as icompactor vehicles, skips, flatbeds and hi-ab lorries onto which different size skips, containers and one-tonne bags can be loaded. and their UK services include bulk tankering, with a fleet of specialist vehicles and units that can transport all types of liquid waste streams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business development initiatives
  • Manage existing accounts and nurture client relationships
  • Provide sales reporting and analysis
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulations
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with marketing and other departments to align efforts and maximize sales potential.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Previous experience in chemical waste management
  • Demonstrated flexibility, initiative, and proactive approach
  • Strong relationship-building skills and open-mindedness
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate market trends, identify opportunities, and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and proposals clearly and persuasively.

Competitive basic salary up to £50k, negotiable to £55k
