My client is an innovative startup specializing in AI-driven waste sortation technologies, revolutionizing the waste processing industry. They are looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to lead their UK sales efforts, with the potential to expand into some EU markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive new business development and manage existing accounts in the waste sortation and processing market.
- Conduct market research and generate leads to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Provide regular market insights and reporting to guide business strategy
- Identify potential customers through research, networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of leads and prospects for new business opportunities.
- Qualify leads by assessing the needs and budget of potential customers to determine fit with the company’s offerings
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in waste sortation technology sales.
- Deep understanding of the market and products within this niche sector.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently while covering the UK market and beyond.
- candidates must be able to articulate the value of products or services clearly and persuasively.
- Should be comfortable interacting with clients, suppliers, and internal teams, and able to build rapport quickly
- Should have strong negotiation skills to close deals, manage pricing discussions, and ensure that agreements are mutually beneficial while protecting margins.
Preferred Location: Flexible, as long as the candidate can cover the market effectively.
Package:
- Base Salary: £40,000 – £55,000
- Bonus: To be discussed
