Sales Engineer – Piling & Groundworks

Location: London & Home Counties (Remote | Field role) 
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 + Commission (on work won) + Car
Start Date: ASAP 

A specialist contractor in the piling and groundworks sector, with a strong reputation across residential and commercial markets, is looking to appoint a Sales Engineer to support ambitious growth plans. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales professional from the piling industry to make a significant commercial impact.

The Role:

This is a newly created position designed to support business expansion. You will take ownership of the sales process, from site visits and technical consultations to negotiating and securing work across Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors, civil engineers, project managers, and site managers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend site meetings and build strong working relationships with clients

• Provide technical expertise in a consultative manner

• Manage the full sales cycle and win new business

• Leverage your existing network to deliver commercial results

• Proven experience in the piling sector

• Strong network and client base within the industry (essential)

• Technically confident with excellent communication skills

• Commercially driven and self-motivated

The Package:

• Base salary of £45K – £55K

• Commission on all work won (Open ended) 

• Company car or car allowance (flexible depending on candidate)
