 Our Client is a leader in the high-end lighting sector, specializing in the design and sale of premium lighting solutions such as linear magnetic and downlights. They serve a wide range of clients including architects, consultants, and lighting designers, with a focus on large-scale office projects.

Due to a recent vacancy, Our client is seeking a proactive and sales-driven Project Sales Manager to join their growing team. This role is perfect for a motivated individual with strong experience in the lighting specification process and a technical understanding of lighting and controls.

About the Role

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including expanding into new markets and sectors. 
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, specifiers, contractors, and distributors 
  • Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive market share growth. 
  • Collaborate with the design, technical, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution and delivery. 
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of industry developments. 
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts, providing insights on sales performance and opportunities for growth.

Ideal Candidate Background:

  • Proven experience in lighting specifications sales to Architects, Lighting Designers, M&E Contractors, and Consultants.
  • Strong sales mentality: ambitious, results-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • A deep understanding of the technical aspects of lighting and controls.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to engage with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong networking skills with experience in building relationships with key decision-makers.

Salary/Package:

  • Basic Salary: £50,000 – £60,000, depending on experience.
  • Car Allowance: £6,000.
  • Commission: Open-ended structure
