About the Company:
Our Client is a leader in the high-end lighting sector, specializing in the design and sale of premium lighting solutions such as linear magnetic and downlights. They serve a wide range of clients including architects, consultants, and lighting designers, with a focus on large-scale office projects.
Due to a recent vacancy, Our client is seeking a proactive and sales-driven Project Sales Manager to join their growing team. This role is perfect for a motivated individual with strong experience in the lighting specification process and a technical understanding of lighting and controls.
About the Role
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including expanding into new markets and sectors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, specifiers, contractors, and distributors
- Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive market share growth.
- Collaborate with the design, technical, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of industry developments.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts, providing insights on sales performance and opportunities for growth.
Ideal Candidate Background:
- Proven experience in lighting specifications sales to Architects, Lighting Designers, M&E Contractors, and Consultants.
- Strong sales mentality: ambitious, results-oriented, and self-motivated.
- A deep understanding of the technical aspects of lighting and controls.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to engage with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong networking skills with experience in building relationships with key decision-makers.
Salary/Package:
- Basic Salary: £50,000 – £60,000, depending on experience.
- Car Allowance: £6,000.
- Commission: Open-ended structure
