A leading investment management firm is seeking a Platform Relationship Manager to support Wealth Managers and Advisers in embedding its investment platform into their business operations. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with high-performing advisory firms, helping streamline processes and enhance their service delivery.

Role Summary

This is a client-facing, relationship-driven role that blends platform training, strategic support, and service excellence. As the Platform Relationship Manager, you will take ownership of adviser relationships within a defined region—ensuring the platform is fully utilised and integrated into each firm’s workflows and proposition. Working closely with both commercial and service teams, your contribution will directly influence platform adoption and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Wealth Managers and advisory firms.
  • Deliver platform training and support both remotely and in person.
  • Help new clients onboard successfully and embed platform tools and features.
  • Increase usage of platform efficiencies and digital capabilities.
  • Act as a key liaison for adviser queries, ensuring resolution and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with business development and proposition teams to drive adoption and gather feedback.
  • Support campaigns, regional initiatives, and adviser events.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and client service.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of platform functionality and share insights internally.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Strong relationship management and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the UK investment platform or advisory market.
  • Client-focused mindset with the ability to influence and educate.
  • Experience supporting financial advisers or working in wealth management.
  • Organised, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Willingness to travel regionally (approximately 3 days per week).

Desirable:

  • Exposure to retail investments and financial planning processes.
  • Understanding of platform technology and digital tools.
  • Familiarity with Pershing systems (a bonus, not essential).
  • Relevant financial services qualifications (e.g. CII, CISI, or equivalent).
