National Sales Professional – Construction Machinery

Location: National role with flexibility to work from two office locations
Reporting To: Sales Director
Work Arrangement: Field-based with client visits; office presence required 2-3 times per month or up to twice a week (no remote working permitted)

Role Overview

A leading construction plant machinery provider is seeking a Sales Representative to join its growing team. This role involves selling a diverse portfolio of high-quality machinery to clients across the UK. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage relationships with clients within the construction, mining, and energy sectors.
  • Drive sales of a comprehensive product range, including:
    • Excavators
    • Loading Shovels
    • Skid-Steer Loaders
    • Compaction Rollers
    • Pavers
    • Milling Machinery
    • Screeners
    • Motor Graders
    • Articulated Dumpers
    • Bulldozers
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share.
  • Deliver product demonstrations and presentations to prospective customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless sales process and excellent after-sales support.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets as agreed with the Sales Director.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven sales experience within the construction equipment, plant machinery, or heavy equipment industry.
  • Strong technical understanding of construction machinery.
  • A results-driven mindset with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with the team.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the UK.
  • Valid UK driving license.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: £60,000 – £100,000 (dependent on experience)
