National Sales Manager – Industrial Sector
Package: Basic Salary: £55,000-£60,000 (DOE) + Company Car + Bonus + Benefits
Job Purpose:
My client is seeking an experienced National Sales Manager to lead and drive the growth of their Industrial sales division. This pivotal role involves full P&L responsibility, strategic planning, and leadership of both internal and external sales teams. The ideal candidate will excel in fostering a collaborative and goal-driven environment, aligned with the company’s mission and values.

Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth in the industrial sector.
- Use internal and external market data to align activities with the strategic plan.
- Sales Growth:
- Achieve and demonstrate profitable sales growth across industrial markets through effective leadership of the sales team.
- Business Planning:
- Set measurable goals and targets for the team, monitoring progress against key performance indicators.
- Product Range Development:
- Collaborate with Marketing and Technical teams to strategically enhance product ranges.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Coach and support internal and external sales teams, fostering a positive and collaborative market presence.
- Drive improvements in technical competence and commercial awareness within the team to support business goals.
- Additional Activities:
- Support broader business initiatives and contribute to cross-departmental collaboration as required.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Essential: Proven experience in the industrial lubricants sector.
- Strong track record in B2B sales of premium products through well-defined sales channels.
- Exceptional people management and motivational skills to drive team performance.
