About the Client
My client is at the forefront of mid to high-end luxury kitchen design and manufacturing. They pride themselves on delivering exceptional quality and service, and they’re looking to expand their reach. They are seeking a talented Franchise/Showroom Business Development Manager to drive the development of their franchise network and showroom operations across the Southeast and potentially nationally.
Our client sells bespoke manufactured kitchens through retail (franchises/showrooms) and to contractors. The role requires you to have a good understanding of retail sales and the ability to develop relationships with designers and individuals interested in owning their own kitchen business.
About the Role
- As the Franchise/Showroom BDM, you’ll play a crucial role in expanding their franchise network.
- You’ll be instrumental in managing and supporting several existing franchises in the Southeast, working closely with the existing team to ensure operational excellence and growth. .
- Your ongoing support and guidance to franchisees, including hiring, training, and managing kitchen designers and showroom staff will be a large part of the role.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the kitchen industry, preferably with a background ranging from designer to showroom manager to sales and operations.
- A proven track record in sales management, process optimization, and metrics with the ability to recruit, train, and manage kitchen showroom staff effectively.
- Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment to drive business growth.
- You will need a deep understanding of kitchen design and be able to give technical advice to perform your duties.
About the Candidate
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in business development, sales, or franchise management, preferably in the kitchen, construction, or home improvement industries.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement in sales and customer experience.
- Ensure franchisees are supported with adequate resources, training, and marketing strategies.
- Solid understanding of the kitchen industry.
- Familiarity with trends in commercial property development and the requirements for showroom presentation in the commercial sector
