Role: Contractor Sales Specialist – Electrical Industry

Location: Field-based, UK

Our client, a long-established British manufacturer with over 80 years of excellence in wiring accessories and circuit protection, is experiencing significant growth through product innovation and market expansion. As part of this continued success, they are seeking a Contractor Sales Specialist to build strong relationships with Electrical Contractors and Specifiers, helping to drive demand and promote their full product range in partnership with national and independent distributors.

This is a hands-on, field-based role focused on generating new business opportunities, delivering tailored proposals, and supporting the contractor network through regular site visits, CPD events, and trade mornings. Working in close alignment with the distribution channel, you’ll play a key role in strengthening brand presence and delivering profitable growth across your territory.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in technical sales, ideally within the electrical industry, and bring strong knowledge of contractor engagement and specification-led selling. A proactive, self-motivated attitude, combined with strong commercial and relationship-building skills, is essential for success in this role.

Salary/Package: up to £50k base
