They are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to identify and pursue new opportunities, generate revenue, and drive profitability while supporting growth.

In this role, you will pitch and demonstrate proprietary digital energy solutions, including net zero consultancy and holistic energy management services. Key USPs include a reverse auction platform and a funded energy monitoring solution. Key Responsibilities

  • Research organizations to identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop strategies to secure new clients and grow the customer base.
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline through relationship-building and market awareness.
  • Conduct cold calls and schedule meetings at customer sites or virtually.
  • Pitch energy solutions to senior stakeholders, close deals, and nurture positive relationships.
  • Identify opportunities for sales campaigns and collaborate with marketing teams to execute.
  • Attend events and conferences to network and generate leads.
  • Maintain accurate sales records in the CRM (Salesforce) and achieve quarterly/annual sales targets.
  • Deliver compelling presentations to customers and senior management.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience selling energy management or net zero solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK energy procurement and supply market.
  • Demonstrated success in B2B business development, particularly with C-suite stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Results-driven mindset with the ability to meet and exceed targets.
  • Comfortable with cold calling and lead generation.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented, with a proactive approach to accountability.
