The Role:

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying and engaging new business opportunities within interior design, architecture, luxury project development, and high-end retail showrooms. This role focuses on proactive lead generation, relationship-building, and nurturing opportunities before passing them to the sales team for conversion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Outreach – Leverage industry relationships and networking skills to open new business opportunities.
  • Relationship Building – Engage with key decision-makers via calls, emails, and industry events.
  • Lead Nurturing – Maintain ongoing communication with prospects, aligning product offerings with client needs.
  • Collaboration with Sales – Work closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless handover of qualified leads.
  • Market Insights – Keep up to date with industry trends and competitor activity to refine outreach strategies.
  • Growth & Targets – Work towards KPIs and business growth objectives, ensuring consistent new business development.

What’s Required:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within interiors, architecture, or construction.
  • Strong industry connections and understanding of high-end residential and commercial projects in the tile sector
  • Excellent networking and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior decision-makers.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, comfortable working independently.
  • Experience using CRM tools to track leads and opportunities.
  • A passion for design, architecture, or luxury homebuilding is a plus.

This is a remote role with an expectation to travel to the South West office occasionally—whether a few days per month or per week, depending on location.
