Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and sustain relationships with key clients, primarily within local authorities, as well as schools and housing developers.
- Contribute to strategic tender and quotation submissions.
- Manage a proactive diary to ensure consistent achievement of sales targets.
- Conduct on-site surveys, preparing quotes and design briefs tailored to customer needs.
- Follow up on sales leads and marketing initiatives to onboard new clients.
Comprehensive training will be provided, with strong backing from the client’s experienced support team.
Candidate Profile:
- The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and adept at building client relationships
- . Familiarity with the play industry or a similar sector is preferred.
- Experience in sales to schools is also considered valuable, especially for candidates seeking progression into a broader client base including public sector accounts.
- Extensive knowledge of fall protection regulations and standards, such as those set by OSHA and ANSI1.
- Understanding of various fall protection systems, including guardrails, safety nets, and personal fall arrest systems2.
- Proven track record in sales, with the ability to develop and maintain client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and drive revenue growth.
- Competent Person training in fall protection, which includes identifying hazards, implementing safety measures, and ensuring compliance with safety standards1.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey safety protocols and lead training sessions, as well as the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Salary/Package:
- Base Salary: £45,000 (dependent on experience)
- Bonus with potential as follows:
- Year 1 OTE: £25,000.
- Year 2 OTE: £30,000.
- Year 3 OTE: £35,000-£45,000
